Lauren Keegan, 5th Grade ELA & SS

Hi, my name is Ms. Keegan!  I teach 5th grade ELA and Social Studies.  I love finding fun and engaging ways to teach reading and writing!  In my spare time, I love going to exercise classes and spending time with my family and friends!  

Danielle Benson, 5th Grade Math & Science

Hi! I’m Mrs. Russo-Benson, a 5th grade Math and Science teacher who loves bringing the classroom online with fun, interactive digital lessons that get students thinking, creating, and exploring. I’m all about hands-on learning in virtual spaces! Outside of teaching, you’ll usually find me reading a good book, hiking in nature, or hunting down a cozy coffee shop.


Lauren Moyal, Assistant Principal

I'm the Assistant Principal here at P.S. 79, and I'm all about finding cool ways to use technology to make learning fun and engaging for our students.

When I'm not at school, you can usually find me staying active, whether I'm working out, hiking a new trail, or kayaking. I also have two awesome pets at home: a dog and a bunny who keep me entertained and remind me to slow down and enjoy the little things.

Brian Paider, 5th Grade Math & Science

I am a dedicated 5th grade math and science teacher who brings curiosity to the classroom and likes to make learning fun through hands-on activities and engaging lessons. My wife and two daughters inspire my commitment to helping young learners grow and succeed.

Stephanie Gallo, First Grade

Hi! My name is Ms. Gallo and I teach 1st Grade! I absolutely love teaching at P.S.79. When I'm not teaching, you can find me at the beach, listening to Taylor Swift, or spending time with my friends and family!
